TikTok Clone vs. Instagram Reels

Attractive, easily digestible, short video clips are not new to social. TikTok is the first network to leverage this and has succeeded.

This has induced many companies to create TikTok clones. Instagram followed the TikTok clone to launch its Reels feature.

Reels launch immediately persuaded many to find the differences. Is it correct to say that Instagram is just a TikTok clone? Let us compare the two in different aspects:

The time of a short video in TikTok clone ranges from 15 to 60 seconds while in Instagram it is 15 to 90 seconds.

But the TikTok clone seems to have more tools such as voice-changing effects, and voice-over to clips. It also has a few templates for sharing photos in a creative way.

Standalone app: This is the biggest difference that the TikTok clone is a standalone app for reels. But for Instagram, it is just a feature.

Reels and TikTok clip creation may be identical, but users interact with the applications in entirely different ways.

The material you enjoy and what each network offers will ultimately determine which one is best for you.
